Mechanical Machine Builder

Eclipse Automation seeks a Mechanical Machine Builder for its Cambridge, ON location. Drive innovation in mechanical manufacturing by assembling complex systems and components on-site.

This full-time position reports to Mechanical Production Supervisors and requires expertise in assembling and integrating automation equipment. You'll read engineering drawings, troubleshoot machinery, and use conventional shop equipment. Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential for meeting project milestones effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create sub-assemblies for automated workstations

• Assemble systems including pneumatics and hydraulics

• Interpret complex engineering drawings accurately

• Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment

• Ensure project milestones are consistently met

Requirements:

• 5+ years in custom automation manufacturing

• Certificate of Qualification in relevant fields

• Proficient with Solid Works (preferred)

• Valid Driver’s License and Passport required

• Experience with overhead cranes and hand tools
