Working cross‑functionally with production, quality, R&D, and operations teams, you’ll help drive process improvements, reduce variability, and ensure high‑quality output in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.
Key Responsibilities Analyze and improve wire production processes including drawing, annealing, etching, shaping, and finishing.
Identify bottlenecks, implement lean improvements, and reduce waste across manufacturing operations.
Support the scale‑up of production from pilot to full‑scale.
Maintain and update process documentation as part of QMS requirements.
Collaborate with the Quality team to improve process capability and resolve root causes of defects.
Develop and monitor in‑process quality control metrics and support SPC initiatives.
Lead DOE and other data‑driven investigations into process performance.
Work closely with R&D, operations, and procurement teams to support the development and transfer of new products into production.
Recommend and implement upgrades to equipment or processes to improve safety, throughput, or yield.
Contribute to internal audits, corrective actions, and quality improvement programs.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar field) with 2–5 years of experience in a process, manufacturing, or production engineering role.
Familiarity with QMS systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485) and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process validation, and root cause analysis techniques.
Self‑motivated and able to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with wire processing technologies (e.g., drawing, annealing, etching, shaping) is an asset.
We strive to build a team that reflects the diversity of the community we work in and encourage applications from traditionally underrepresented groups such as women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, people identifying as LGBTQ2SI, veterans, and people with disabilities.
