Automotive Production Operator Role

Become a crucial part of AGS Automotive Systems as a Production Operator. Engage in the safe unloading of parts and the operation of manual stamping presses while following established safety protocols.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role involves adhering to technical procedures and safely managing equipment. Responsibilities include visual inspections of parts, maintaining cleanliness, and documenting processes. Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude and preferably some experience in manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual stamping presses and unload parts

• Conduct visual inspections and use gauges for quality checks

• Ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards

• Document any issues or adjustments to machinery

• Sort and rework defective materials as needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma preferred but not mandatory

• Experience in a manufacturing setting is an asset

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to safely operate machinery

• Understanding of Technical System Procedures is a plus
