Salary Range: CA $20.00 To CA $22.00 Hourly

Job Description

Westport in Cambridge, Ont. designs and manufactures a comprehensive product mix of alternative fuel components for applications in the light and heavy-duty vehicle and industrial segments globally. This product mix includes Hydrogen (H2) and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) components such as pressure regulators, tank valves, PRD's, PRV’s, shutoff valves and integrated systems for a wide range of applications, including Fuel Cell vehicles.

Please Note:

This is a 3-month contract role. This production worker must have deburring experience.
The Deburrer is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts to ensure smooth, safe, and precise finishes. This role involves using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to carefully deburr and wash components according to specifications and quality standards. The Deburrer will inspect parts for defects, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines.

Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with small to medium parts and intricate details are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to producing high-quality, finished components.
