Aversan Inc. () is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.

We are currently seeking a qualified Junior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic testing and be able to operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support test setup upgrades and modifications. This work will help minimize downtime, improve productivity, and support the continuous improvement of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and calibrate test systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Perform testing verification and reporting of devices under test.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to devices under test.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of test setups, upgrades, and modifications.
• Document all test activities in appropriate software, including updating equipment records and preparing reports.
• Knowledgeable and understanding of all testing procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Technology, etc.).
• 2 years of experience in an electronic testing role.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is an asset.
• Strong computer skills (Office 365).
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an asset.
• Follow procedures (SOP's, Maps, Drawings, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment.
• Understanding of RF Theory by supporting system design reviews, laboratory testing and product validation.

Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000 CAD (annual salary)
