Drive excellence in production with Septodont as a Lead Hand in Cambridge, Ontario. This role supports operations, equipment maintenance, and team training on the weekend night shift.
The Lead Hand is accountable to the Production Supervisor for all equipment operation and maintenance activities. You will ensure adequate supply levels, perform operator duties as necessary, and actively support continuous improvement initiatives. This role is essential for maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate shift changeover for optimal operations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and training projects
• Ensure component and supply availability for production
• Coach operators on documentation practices and rectify errors
• Troubleshoot equipment alarms and address quality deviations
Requirements:
• High school completion or related diploma
• 1 year experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work weekend night shifts
