Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator - Evening Shift

Rockwell Automation seeks a skilled Sheet Metal Fabrication Operator for the evening shift in Cambridge, Ontario.

Experience with CNC machines and blueprint reading is essential for this role.

This full-time position involves setting up and operating several types of equipment to manufacture quality sheet metal components. You’ll be responsible for interpreting detailed blueprints, conducting inspections, and managing material flow. Collaborate in a team environment to improve production processes and maintain safety standards effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines and other fabrication tools

• Interpret blueprints for precise manufacturing

• Manage materials and maintain efficient workflows

• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot regularly

• Engage in Six Sigma and LEAN initiatives for improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of related industrial experience

• High School diploma or GED necessary

• Strong mechanical and technical skills

• Understanding of fabrication principles

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
