General Labourer
We are seeking a talented and motivated General Labourer to be a vital part of our Production team.

This is full-time role located at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario. Day shift Monday to Friday with some overtime.
Pay Range: CAD $20.00 – $30.00/hr

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build small mechanical/electrical assemblies, following detailed instructions and guidelines.

Assist with polishing /washing of parts and components associated with Angstrom Engineering systems and machines

Assist with the Load/Unload and packaging of materials and equipment

Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery on the manufacturing floor

Clean and organize the manufacturing shop floor area

This includes tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming and garbage/recycling removal

Shovel, salt and maintain walkways

General assistance in other areas of the shop, as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have the ability to understand, and follow, basic operator instructions and complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner

Must be well organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks are required

Forklift experience is an asset

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset

Basic knowledge, and safe operation, of hand and power tools is an asset

Must demonstrate basic reading, writing, mathematical skills, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent

Must be physically fit, and have the ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis

Great work ethic with a positive attitude and desire to work as a team

Work in a manner that garners respect from your peers and makes others around you better

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime, as required

Pay Range
The listed pay range represents the expected compensation for this position. Individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, applicable experience, and relevant education and training.
