Join Tigercat Industries as a Custom Machinist specializing in Solid Works and CNC programming. You’ll produce custom-engineered components on a dedicated day or afternoon shift in Cambridge, ON.
As a skilled Custom Machinist, you will program and operate various CNC machines, including advanced 5-axis equipment. You must demonstrate proficiency with Heidenhain and Fanuc control systems while ensuring that all components meet precise dimensional specifications using precision measurement instruments. Routine maintenance of equipment is also a key duty.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and troubleshoot CNC programs for precision machining
• Operate and set up CNC mills, lathes, and 5-axis machinery
• Measure parts to verify compliance with specifications
• Maintain machines in operational condition for optimal performance
• Load and align parts securely before machining
Requirements:
• Licensed Machinist experienced in CNC machining
• Proficient in Heidenhain, Mastercam, and Fanuc control systems
• Skilled in Solid Works and precision measurement tools
• Ability to collaboratively troubleshoot machine issues
• Capable of managing physical demands such as lifting
