Launch your career with Eclipse Automation as an MTBI Co-op in Cambridge, Ontario. Assist in mechanical assembly and ensure projects are completed on schedule while following safety protocols.
As an MTBI Co-op, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of mechanical assembly policies. You'll collaborate directly with the Production Lead while working in a lean environment. Your responsibilities will include using hand tools, interpreting drawings, and verifying dimensions with precision instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble components using hand tools and machinery
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts
• Read and interpret machine-tool assembly drawings
• Verify dimensions of finished parts using measuring tools
• Complete assigned duties while maintaining safety standards
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma program
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Valid Driver’s License and MVR driving record required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working at heights in a fast-paced environment
