Afternoon Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Lead afternoon manufacturing operations at Jamesway in Cambridge, using front-line leadership, production planning, and quality oversight on site. Monday through Thursday, 3:15pm to 1:45am.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this Production Supervisor directs daily shop-floor execution for Jamesway’s poultry incubation products. You will supervise unionized hourly employees, coordinate labour and materials, and maintain safe, productive workflow. The position emphasizes schedule attainment, quality requirements, continuous improvement, and disciplined standard work.

• Lead shift communications, assignments, priorities, and production recovery plans
• Supervise, coach, train, and motivate unionized production employees
• Enforce safety, housekeeping, personal protective equipment, and plant rules
• Coordinate materials, equipment, labour, workflow, and maintenance priorities
• Contain non-conforming work and implement sustained corrective actions

• Five-plus years of progressive manufacturing experience
• Front-line leadership or supervisory responsibility in manufacturing
• Post-secondary manufacturing, operations, engineering, or trades education preferred
• Ability to interpret schedules, drawings, specifications, and performance data
• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
