Prepare and coat fabricated parts at Arrow Off Road Cambridge, using spray painting skills and precise surface preparation. Work in Cambridge, Ontario, within a quality-focused fabrication facility.
As a Painter, you will prepare assigned parts and apply paint, lacquer, or other protective coatings safely. AOR Cambridge fabricates and assembles components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. The work calls for automotive paint finish experience, bodywork, parts preparation, and accurate paint mixture knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect paint equipment for cleanliness and damage
- Wash and sand parts to remove corrosion
- Prepare items for paint, lacquer, or protective coatings
- Select or mix paint using specified formulas
- Verify surfaces meet quality and customer standards
- Grade Twelve education or equivalent
- Previous related industry work experience
- Knowledge of automotive paint finishes and bodywork
- Understanding of coat density and required cure times
- Commitment to workplace safety and company procedures
