Senior Tooling Operations Lead

The Tooling Lead Senior manages the full lifecycle of production tools and related equipment. This senior manufacturing position emphasizes inventory control, technical problem-solving, calibration coordination, and collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams. It also includes complex project leadership and guidance for junior tooling personnel.

• Manage calibration, repair, replacement, and tracking for production tools
• Maintain tooling inventory, control systems, and documentation
• Coordinate calibration schedules and quality compliance
• Diagnose tool issues with engineering and maintenance teams
• Provide management updates on readiness, risks, and improvement plans

• Eight to ten years of manufacturing or tooling experience
• Experience managing tooling, inventory, or maintenance coordination
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of calibration, tooling standards, and equipment safety
• Proficiency with tooling databases, asset tracking, or ERP modules
