In this role, the Registered Nurse will assess and care for pediatric patients, providing vital support to families. Flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, is crucial. The purpose of this position is to ensure safe patient care through strong clinical decision-making and collaboration with a healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments on pediatric patients effectively
• Engage in discharge planning and family education
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment
• Ensure a safe and supportive care atmosphere
• Deliver independent nursing expertise in pediatric settings
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with CNO in Ontario
• At least 2 years of relevant pediatric experience
• Recent BCLS and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications
• Knowledgeable in pediatric medical/surgical care
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
