As a vital member of the Medicine Team, you will perform assessments, treatments, and maintain detailed records while enhancing the patient and family experience. Your ability to manage daily living activities and offer education is crucial. This role requires a mix of nursing skills, physical demand, and dedication to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments and monitor overall health
• Assist patients with daily living activities
• Document changes in patients’ conditions accurately
• Rely on nursing knowledge and the Three Factor Framework
• Engage with families to provide relevant information
Requirements:
• RPN Diploma or equivalent, required
• Minimum one year recent medical experience
• College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate in good standing
• Current CPR certification and medication administration training
• I.V. trained or willing to obtain within 6 months
