This full-time Registered Practical Nurse assignment serves medical and surgical patients across Cambridge Memorial Hospital. You will float according to care demands while building experience across diverse care environments. Comprehensive orientation and continuous training support development across changing assignments and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support medical and surgical patients across multiple hospital units
- Float to assignments based on care and nursing needs
- Adapt to changing roles and responsibilities across units
- Maintain safe environments for patients, staff, and visitors
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and bending
- Diploma in Nursing
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in good standing
- Current BCLS and Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation certificates
- Two years’ current hospital medicine or surgery experience
- Vascular therapy, assessment, postoperative, oncologic, and palliative competence
