Position: Certified Arborist Role

The City is currently hiring an Arborist to enhance our urban forestry efforts and maintain the community's greenery. You will be responsible for pruning, removal, and operating essential equipment while ensuring safety procedures are followed. This role requires responding to public inquiries and managing traffic during operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tree pruning and removal tasks efficiently

• Operate and maintain forestry equipment safely

• Assist team members working at heights with safety practices

• Inspect and document tree conditions for management

• Carry out traffic management in compliance with regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma in Arboriculture or certified apprenticeship

• 3+ years of relevant urban forestry experience

• International Society of Arboriculture Certification

• Valid Class D License with Z endorsement

• Proficiency in GIS and work order systems
