Transform quality management in Cambridge, Ontario as a Quality Control Technician. This long-term contract position focuses on critical inspections and compliance within a high-safety environment.
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, your primary responsibility will be to perform independent quality verification on Field Services projects. You will collaborate closely with Site Managers and Field Engineers to ensure adherence to all technical specifications and BWXT standards, especially in the radiological domain. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining impeccable quality assurance during inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing inspections on projects and processes
• Verify compliance to BWXT standards and ASME Code
• Maintain electronic training records accurately
• Assist in procedure and Work Package reviews
• Engage in vendor source inspections as needed
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in NDE/Quality Technology
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
• CGSB Certification for Liquid Penetrant preferred
• Knowledge of ASME Code and NDE methods
• Comfortable in both confined and radiation environments
