Electrical/RF Test Technician Group Lead - Day Shift

As a Group Leader at Honeywell, you will drive operational excellence and lead a high‑performing team to achieve strategic objectives within the Aerospace sector. Your leadership will foster innovation, enhance productivity, and ensure we meet and exceed our customers' expectations. You will support ISC operations by troubleshooting, testing equipment, maintaining, and reporting any issues and assisting in process improvements for smooth operation and high efficiency.
Location:
Cambridge, ON.
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM.
Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and repair test control systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
Verify and report testing of devices under test.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to devices under test, diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support implementation of test setup upgrades and modifications.
Understand chemical drawings and test procedures.
Document all maintenance and repair activities, including updating equipment records and preparing reports.
Maintain test software and provide continuous improvement to enhance test software.
Qualifications
Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Technology).
Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace, defense, space, or electronic testing.
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a testing role.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to work at heights.
Must be able to obtain CGP, CSP, and ACSO clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
Strong computer skills (Office 365).
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
Follow procedures (SOPs, maps, drawings, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment.
Understanding of RF Theory.
The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 – $80,700 in Cambridge, Ontario.
