As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of mechanical tests including hardness and tensile evaluations. This full-time position allows for growth through cross-training opportunities in corrosion and physical testing, ensuring a diverse skill set. You will work with a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining high standards in testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mechanical tests including Charpy and bend testing
• Prepare test reports with customer information
• Operate and calibrate testing equipment
• Follow established quality and safety protocols
• Collaborate on larger projects with multiple departments
Requirements:
• Degree in engineering technology or relevant diploma
• Experience with testing software such as Bluehill
• Comfort with handling large specimens up to 35kg
• Organized and able to manage time effectively
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
