What is the Opportunity?

As a Lead Auditor this position reports directly to the Auditing Supervisor, and indirectly to the Quality Director and Quality Managers, Nuclear as required.

What You'll Do Here:
  • Schedule and perform internal audits of various quality programs implemented within Aecon Industrial/Nuclear and at Aecon project sites as directed.
  • Schedule and perform external surveys or audits of quality programs at Aecon Industrial/Nuclear suppliers as directed.
  • Prepare audit plans, checklists, and reports, and ensure timely completion and submittal of internal and external audit documentation.
  • Supervise and provide direction to Auditors and Technical Specialists during audits.
  • Participate in the corrective action process by performing ACAs, RCAs, and Verification of Effectiveness (VoE) audits.
  • Evaluate and follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits, including issuance and maintenance of supplier corrective actions.
  • Manage audit documentation, including forwarding supplier audit records to the Quality Coordinator for EDMS upload and uploading internal audit documents into EDMS.
  • Inform the Corrective Action System (CAS) of ACA/RCA/VoE completion and outcomes as applicable.
  • Plan, organize, and perform internal audits of Aecon’s manufacturing facility and nuclear project sites in accordance with applicable quality program manuals, procedures, work instructions, and Project Quality Plans.
