Pepsi Co Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Plumber
Compensation: $ per hour (Plus shift premiums)
Shift: Weekday Day Shift (7am – 3pm)
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of site equipmentCompletion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and repairs of all plumbing related equipment within area of responsibilityCarrying out assigned daily maintenance tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiencyManage through emergency breakdownsSupport in root cause and prevention of future downtime eventsWork collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risksCommunicating clearly during shift handovers and team meetings to ensure smooth coordination across teams and work ordersDemonstrating strong troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-demand environmentManage through emergency breakdownsQualificationsMandatory:
Must currently possess a valid journeyman plumbing ticket in the province of OntarioA valid millwright, electrical, pipe fitter/welder, and/or power engineering ticket in the province of Ontario would be an assetStrong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environmentPhysically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as requiredDemonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliabilityExceptional communication skills and basic computer literacyFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hoursMust be flexible and available to work rotating shifts
