As an Automation Software Designer, you will draw on 5+ years of experience in custom automation to design software that meets customer specifications. Your expertise in integrating hardware and software components will facilitate the commissioning and training processes at client sites, while you work to enhance system efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design custom PLC and PC-based software
• Debug and optimize control systems during installation phases
• Conduct hardware testing and integration with sensors and motion controllers
• Work closely with engineers and electricians to address client challenges
• Provide end-user training and detailed project documentation
Requirements:
• Over 5 years of automation experience
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant engineering field

• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time
