Controls Software Co-op

Position: Controls Software Co-op Role
Embark on a hands-on co-op experience with Eclipse Automation as a Controls Software Design Co-op in Cambridge, ON. Collaborate on developing automation systems that redefine manufacturing efficiency.

This full-time co-op position involves supporting the design and integration of software with electrical and mechanical systems. You will report to the Software Design Supervisor and work on PLC and PC-based program development while engaging in testing and troubleshooting at customer sites to ensure optimal machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design control software according to project needs

• Assist in the integration of control systems at Eclipse and customer locations

• Test and select hardware components like lasers and robots

• Work with engineering teams to improve integration methods

• Provide documentation and training tailored to customer projects

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an engineering or related program

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency in computer applications, especially Excel

• Ability to set priorities and work autonomously

• Active participation in team environments required
