In this position, you will assist in the design and integration of software and hardware components within various automation projects. Reporting to the Software Design Supervisor, you will work alongside experienced engineers, participating in programming activities, debugging systems, and ensuring project milestones are met effectively. Your contribution will directly impact the overall efficiency and safety of client installations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate in designing software programs tailored to project needs
• Debug and commission control systems at facilities and customer locations
• Test and select hardware components for integration into machines
• Ensure thorough documentation and provide technical support to clients
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a post-secondary engineering diploma or degree
• Proficient in Excel and excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
• Commitment to adhering to safety and ethical standards
