On behalf of our Manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Senior Java/Angular Fullstack Developer for a 5 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Cambridge, Ontario office.

As a Senior Software Consultant, you will design, develop, and scale mission-critical microservices and hybrid mobile applications that support client’s North American factories.

Senior Java/Angular Fullstack Developer
- Responsibilities:
• System design and architecture
• Full lifecycle implementation (design, development, testing, deployment)
• Integration with existing enterprise systems and industrial tools
• Production support, troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance
• Engaging directly with shop-floor stakeholders to refine and validate requirements
• Ensuring performance, reliability, and responsive UI for handheld devices

Senior Java/Angular Fullstack Developer - Mandatory

Skills:

• Expert knowledge in Java Spring Boot and Angular 12+
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in frontend & mobile development
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• CI/CD integration with Git-based workflows
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an Agile team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Senior Java/Angular Fullstack Developer – Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Mobile app development (Android, hybrid frameworks)
• Industrial automation protocols (OPC, PLC, Modbus)
• Advanced Kafka usage (stream processing, schema registries)
• Advanced Redis usage (pub/sub, distributed locks)
• Dev Ops tools (Git Hub Actions, container orchestration)
