In this pivotal role, you'll design and implement transportation strategies while managing a planning team. Your expertise in transportation planning will aid in monitoring logistics performance and coordinating with third-party providers to enhance service delivery across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate planning team and provide management coverage
• Monitor pickup and delivery performance across logistics fleets
• Develop strategies optimizing flow of products to customers
• Manage bulk railcar movements efficiently
• Prepare and present delivery performance metrics reports
Requirements:
• Logistics certification or related experience preferred
• Experience with private and 3PL distribution
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
• Proficient with TMS and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
Lead efficiency in transportation planning and logistics at Parrish & Heimbecker.
