In this role with Manitoulin Transport, you will work during night shifts from 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM, Tuesday through Saturday. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, distributing freight, and documenting any issues. Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace are crucial aspects of this job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle the loading and unloading of trailers
• Ensure proper distribution of freight to drivers
• Document overages, shortages, or damages
• Reweigh and check freight dimensions
• Maintain cleanliness in the working environment
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license required
• Proven reliability and future growth potential
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively
• Experience operating forklifts
• Capable of problem-solving in fast-paced scenarios
