Pay Rate:$23.00 - 25.00/hr.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a proactive and dependable person to support our customer's transportation team as a Dispatcher, playing a key role in coordinating daily operations and driver activity in a fast-paced environment for an upcoming opening. You will manage incoming requests, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure drivers receive timely information to operate safely and efficiently.
Job Description- Coordinate schedules for city drivers and outside carriers for LTL deliveries
- Communicate clear instructions with all parties
- Monitor and track shipments and relay information
- Provide clear communication, resolve shipment issues and delays
- Previous dispatching experience operating in a fast-paced environment
- Above average knowledge in transportation
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with multitasking
- Previous experience with AS400 is preferred
