Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our Cambridge, ON team. You will receive, verify, store, secure, locate and ship raw materials and finished goods inventories.
You Will
Unload and load trucks efficiently using mechanical and manual means. Verify inventory and accuracy of shipping and receiving.
Deliver raw materials and finished goods using hand or forklift truck to proper departments, cells or other storage areas. Pick and palletize orders for shipment.
Accurately record in a timely manner all assigned receiving, inventory control and general warehousing transactions.
Use current production and inventory control systems and software.
Use SAP system to receive and ship orders (Domestic and Export).
Learn 5S Program and take Tank Hazmat Training.
Key Qualifications
Forklift operation license required.
Ability to operate forklift, order picker, high reach lift truck, pallet jack, scales, pallet wrapper, foam machine, yard horse, and other warehouse equipment.
Ability to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions and quality plans with minimal supervision.
Employee must be able to work in a team environment.
Shift/Position
1st
Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Compensation
The hourly pay for this role is $24.00 per hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and fulfillment of training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
