Client Service Representative

VCA Choptank Animal Hospital located in Cambridge, MD is looking for a part‑time Client Service Representative to join our supportive team focused on quality patient care and excellent client service.

The Client Service Representative serves as the face of VCA, building trust with clients and ensuring smooth operations. The role supports the hospital’s mission and provides a positive experience for pet parents.

• Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Excellent follow‑through and multi‑tasking.
• Liaison between clients and veterinarians.
• Be forward‑thinking, creative, and proactive.
• Stay calm under pressure, remain positive, professional, and respectful.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Place outbound follow‑up calls and outreach to prospective clients.
• Present and explain fees, and process payments.
• Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answer questions regarding non‑medical pet care (heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and remove animal waste.
