What We’re Looking For

Santé is seeking a Mobile Crisis Specialist to join our frontline crisis intervention team in Centreville, MD. This Part Time position is scheduled Saturday and Sunday every other weekend from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
. As a Mobile Crisis Specialist, you will conduct assessments, implement crisis intervention strategies, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with clients, families, and community partners to ensure appropriate care and support.

Please note:
This is an in‑person position and is not eligible for remote work.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform crisis intervention techniques including de‑escalation, crisis planning, and implementation.
  • Communicate clients’ needs effectively, while making internal agency or community referrals.
  • Determine the need for an emergency petition and/or alternative psychiatric evaluation and provide education on the process.
  • Experience working with a wide variety of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations.
  • Partner with local police, fire departments, and other community agencies.
  • Educate individuals about mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and the agency’s services.
  • Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.
What We Require
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, or related field of study and 5 years of related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
  • Current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LGPC).
