Housekeeper – American Cruise Lines

Apply for the Housekeeper role at American Cruise Lines. We’re hiring for the 2026 season. This is a temporary position on a shipboard hotel for 28 weeks.

Wages range from $1,000 to $1,400 per week plus bonuses. All major living expenses are covered aboard.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests.
• Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Acknowledge guests by name and address all housekeeping‑related inquiries and service requests according to the company’s standards.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Organize inventory and restock linens and supplies.
• Clean spills with appropriate equipment and notify managers of maintenance needs.
• Dispose of trash properly.
• Clean upholstered furniture and lounge areas.
• Build genuine relationships with guests and respond efficiently to housekeeping requests.
• Perform additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, assisting at special events, and participating in evening cocktail parties.

You must be at least 18 years old and an American citizen or Green Card holder. You must be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks. Physical requirements include lifting, bending, climbing, and prolonged standing or walking.

Under Federal Law and the Department of Transportation, a pre‑employment drug test is required for all shipboard employees. Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited. Employees also receive emergency and safety training. Grooming standards limit visible tattoos and piercings.

This is a temporary 28‑week position. Advancement to management is possible but not guaranteed.
