Mallard Bay Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Wound/Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our clinical team. This position plays a vital role in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of wounds, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

• Identify, assess, and treat a variety of skin conditions, including pressure injuries, diabetic, venous, and arterial ulcers, and traumatic or complex wounds.
• Complete thorough wound assessments upon discovery and conduct follow-up evaluations weekly or as needed.
• Provide direct wound care in accordance with physician orders, manufacturer recommendations, and established nursing standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Document all assessments, treatments, and resident responses accurately in the medical record.
• Monitor and ensure consistent implementation of preventive skin care measures (e.g., turning schedules, pressure relief devices, hydration/nutrition, incontinence care).

• Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Wound care certification is preferred but not required.
