We are recruiting a full‑time academic surgical pathologist with subspecialty expertise in thoracic pathology to join a leading academic medical center. The position offers involvement in cutting‑edge precision diagnostics, including cancer genomics, multiplex biomarker theranostics, digital pathology, and a collaboration to establish a new adult inpatient cancer hospital. It is a full‑time, in‑person faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School, with rank based on experience and includes teaching and training responsibilities.

• Provide diagnostic expertise in thoracic pathology, leveraging molecular diagnostics (NGS, FISH).
• Participate in clinical trials and companion diagnostics.
• Develop and maintain a research program; candidates with NIH funding or translational/laboratory expertise will receive dedicated research support.
• Collaborate with diverse teams on precision diagnostics and digital pathology initiatives.
• Serve as a faculty member with responsibilities for teaching and training of residents and fellows.
• Lead initiatives within a center that is a leader in NIH‑funded research, clinical trials, and collaborations with prominent research institutions.

• Board certified in Pathology; molecular pathology certification is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience in molecular diagnostics (NGS, FISH).
• Interest in clinical trials and companion diagnostics.
• Evidence of research potential, including a research program, NIH funding, or translational/laboratory expertise.
