ELL After School Site Coordinator at Graham and Parks

Description of Service Opportunity:

The ELL After School Site Coordinator supports English Language Learners at K-5 SEI program schools at Graham and Parks. The role involves providing academic instruction and support in English language development, reading and math within the EL After school program. The Site Coordinator collaborates with teachers, support staff, and the school's family liaison.

• Registration & Transportation:
  Manage student registration for the after-school program; coordinate transportation arrangements, including bus schedules.
• Staffing:
  Find substitute teachers when necessary and step in to substitute as needed; assist ELL After School teachers in managing students during the program.
• Material Coordination:
  Support ELL After School teachers in coordinating materials and snacks for the program.
• Attendance Management:
  Aid in the collection and maintenance of attendance records.
• Dismissal Oversight:
  Oversee the dismissal process to ensure all students are safely released at the end of the program.

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 3 years experience working with EL students in a linguistically diverse or urban school setting.
• Proficiency in English and a language other than English is preferred, although not required.

Not exceed $4000.00

Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
