Grade 8 AMP’d Math Facilitator

Responsibilities

• Ensure each student is making progress through an online learning platform.
• Provide appointment hours for student check-ins.
• Maintain open communication with students and families as they progress through their learning.
• Use your own device for instructional sessions.
• Provide ongoing feedback and encouragement for students throughout sessions.
• Manage a Google Classroom for your students.
• Review student thinking and overall student comprehension to provide specific feedback.

• Experience and confidence in teaching mathematics.
• Experience teaching middle school mathematics.
• Completion of or currently working toward a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university.
• Experience dealing with diverse student populations and familiarity working in an urban setting preferred.

• Length:
  November 25, 2025 through May 08, 2026
• Contract amount:
  Not to exceed $6,000.00
• Hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non‑exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
