The Opportunity

Lesley Universitys Department of Psychology+ is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: CPSYC 1401 _ Lifespan Development; MW 12:55-2:10 PM;
Fully In-Person;
On-Campus.

Course

Description:

This course offers a comprehensive study of the theoretical perspectives and contemporary research on human development, exploring various stages of life and the developmental tasks associated with each. The major theories pertaining to cognitive, emotional, moral, and social development throughout the lifespan are explored, with attention given to the interaction of environmental and familial factors with the usual course of development.

Qualities
and Capabilities

A successful candidate will have:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field (required);
    PhD (preferred)

  • Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level in the particular discipline.

  • Experience in constructivist, inquiry-based learning.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
