Platform Operations Engineer - 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM EST Office Shift

As a Platform Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for change safety in Operations, improving and streamlining existing processes, participating in incident reduction initiatives, and troubleshooting customer‑facing issues triggered by deployed changes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in area of specialty
• Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements in favor of change safety
• Improve tools, alerts, documentation, and procedures to support change safety
• Maintain positive relationships across teams
• Collaborate with the global Change Safety Optimization team
• Work 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM EST Monday through Friday in Cambridge, MA for the first six months (then 50% office / 50% remote)

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
• Experience administering, monitoring, and resolving issues in a high‑availability platform environment
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, SQL, and scripting languages
• Experience with network technologies and internet protocols (TCP/IP, WAN, DNS)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a changing environment
• Successful USG Tier 3 background investigation

US base salary range $54,600 – $113,400 per year. Potential incentive compensation, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), company holidays, PTO, sick time, parental leave, and an employee assistance program.
