Accounts Receivable Operations (up to $30/hr)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Operations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and collaborative group of professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 to $30 per hour, making this a great opportunity for those looking to advance their career in financial operations.

Job Duties:
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of $60M daily cashiering and deposits, including student payments and incoming mail
  • Perform payment research and reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors
  • Sort and process incoming mail, including checks, invoices, and other financial documents
  • Perform data entry and maintenance of financial records and systems
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless and efficient financial operations
Required Skills:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with payment research and reconciliation
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Banner or a relevant software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills/

Experience:
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Professional experience within a higher education setting
  • Familiarity with student accounts and tuition payment systems
