Sr. Financial Assistant

We're hiring a Sr.Financial Assistant for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in Cambridge, MA, paying $28-$33 per hour. With a hybrid schedule that includes three days onsite per week, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day finance operations while working toward a potential permanent position. • Provide daily financial and administrative support to the finance department.
• Process invoices, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and financial documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Organize financial data and ensure records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Support efficient workflows and help maintain accuracy across financial operations.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least two years of experience in finance support, accounting, or a related administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems.
• Ideal candidates would have prior professional experience within an accounting or finance department in a college/university setting
