Overview

Awake Overnight Counselor: provide direct support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in small group residential settings or individual living arrangements. Work with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to build independence skills and/or increase quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Implement treatment plans and assist people with activities of daily living.
  • Nightly cleaning and filing (Additional responsibilities).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred.
  • Strong time management and writing skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months.
  • CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
  • All candidates must pass CORI, reference, national fingerprinting and driving record checks.
Pay Range

USD $18.75 - USD $18.75 /Hr.
