Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Gen/Vascular
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-frequency sound wave imaging of internal organs and blood vessels
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety
- Conduct general and vascular ultrasound examinations, analyze sonograms for diagnosis
- Evaluate image quality and adjust equipment accordingly
- Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety and regulatory standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- Minimum one year of recent ultrasound experience
- Current BLS certification and valid ultrasound license
