Role:
Laboratory Operations Associate supporting sample management and lab operations at Serif Biomedicines, an early-stage biotech focusing on gene therapy.
- develop and maintain sample inventory systems
- coordinate sample handoffs
- organize cargo
- support procurement of reagents
- perform lab equipment maintenance
- support lab onboarding
- and ensure safety/compliance
- BS in Biology, Chemistry, or related field;
- 2+ years in lab operations or sample management;
- hands-on experience with cytometers, Fragment Analyzers, chromatography;
- strong organizational and communication skills;
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- experience with Benchling or other LIMS
- lab equipment troubleshooting.
High-value biopharma specifics: support a CMC environment, working closely with scientists and operations teams to facilitate gene therapy development.
Work setupoperational support in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with cross-functional collaboration.
