Human Resources Assistant
, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab
Performs a broad range of HR services and processes for MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), supporting over 1,400 faculty, staff, postdocs, and students.
Responsibilities- Recruiting and on‑boarding graduate and undergraduate appointments
- Record‑keeping and employee file maintenance
- Training support and documentation
- Maintaining the HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
- Processing payroll
- Providing administrative support to the CSAIL Human Resources team, including developing correspondence and preparing reports
- Fielding general HR inquiries
