IT - Technical Support Specialist

Qualifications

• HTML and CSS knowledge
• Able to learn PHP, SQL (MySQL), and Java Script
• At least 2 years related experience and/or training
• Experience with personal computer equipment
• Advanced personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, database & Windows skills
• Analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions
• Ability to independently perform all duties of the position efficiently and effectively
• Strong communication and training skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
• History of Ethical Conduct
• Possession of a computer, phone, and a reliable internet connection
• Authorization to work in the United States

• 15-25 Hours per week
• Updating customer-facing webpages (HTML, CSS, PHP)
• Maintaining and updating PHP functions used by webpages
• Includes queries to SQL database (MySQL)
• Maintaining and updating small JavaScript/React webpages
• Complete Admin system data management (creating new products, prices, SKUs, etc.)
• Basic video editing (removing sections and re-exporting)
• Basic image manipulation (cropping, resizing)
• Troubleshooting and responding to internal and customer tech support requests via email

• Working understanding of the company, customers, programs, products and individual department operations, goals and objectives relating to Computer & Communications Services
• Familiarity updating and upgrading iOS and Android apps, is a plus
