** Shipping and Receiving Technician – JLL*
* ** What this job involves:
** JLL seeks a dynamic and qualified individual for the role of Shipping and Receiving Technician. This position involves working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The role requires independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a varied workload. The Technician provides essential support services to the client office, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely shipping and receiving operations.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and demonstrate strong organizational and team-player skills.  
** What your day-to-day will look like:
*** Prepare required shipping documents for dangerous goods, diagnostic, and research samples
* Handle limited quantities and exceptions for hazmat shipping and dangerous goods
* Perform shipping and receiving duties, selecting the most appropriate mode of transportation for shipments
* Drive a box truck and cargo truck (roughly 15–20% of the time) for deliveries, at least 3x daily
* Deliver packages in a timely fashion to appropriate end users, obtaining signature for receipt
* Safely move goods packed on pallets, crates, furniture, machinery, or equipment around the facility, ensuring loads are secure and properly stacked
* Comply with safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and respond effectively to emergencies

* Required Qualifications:

*
* * High school graduate or equivalent
* Valid driver's license and completion of appropriate vehicle-specific training where applicable
* Strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
* Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as bending and moving safely
* Ability to multitask, maintain professionalism under stressful situations, and manage work with minimal supervision

* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* * At least one year of experience in the Bio-Pharma or Pharmaceutical industry, or similar industry
* 5+ years of Hazardous Materials shipping experience
* 3+ years of relevant experience as a forklift operator
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
* Ability to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual)

** Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.  
** Expected compensation for this position:
** 52,000.00 – 56,160.00 USD per year  
* Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
