Program Officer, Global Programs

MIT Solve, an initiative of MIT, seeks a Program Officer to help implement open innovation challenges across our impact areas. The role executes processes, communications, events, and workshops that power Solve’s programming, while directly engaging with applicants, judges, and selected innovators. The Program Officer reports to Solve’s Program Lead, Health, and has opportunities to contribute to Solve’s mission across various impact areas through internal and external projects, and may include managing interns.

• Execute and manage the end‑to‑end process for MIT Solve’s open innovation challenges.
• Plan and coordinate communications, events, and workshops that support the program’s activities.
• Engage directly with applicants, judges, and selected innovators to facilitate collaboration and progress.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align program initiatives with Solve’s impact areas.
• Possibly manage interns and support administrative functions as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years experience in development, project/program management, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated with capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
