As the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide direct patient care, meeting both the psychological and physical needs of patients and families. You will practice within scope of practice, administer medications, perform procedures, and contribute to continuity and quality of care.

Full time, 32 hours weekly, 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday (days to be determined)
- Work within a designated clinical team.
- Obtain and document relevant patient information; intervene within scope of practice and alert appropriate provider.
- Provide patient education under an established plan of care.
- Obtain vital signs and conduct department‑based testing.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy.
- Start and monitor intravenous infusions; inform RN or clinician of IVs requiring mixing.
- Document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record within established timelines.
- Explain procedures to patients to facilitate understanding.
- Set up examinations and procedures to support clinicians.
- Communicate pertinent information verbally and/or through medical records while maintaining confidentiality.
- Under protocols or specific clinician direction, communicate test results or follow‑up plans to patients/families.
- Administer medications via IM, SC, nebulizer routes.
- Maintain proficiencies in role‑specific procedures per LPN competencies.
- Participate in process improvement and emergency procedures.
- Provide exceptional service to patients, families, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate from a state‑approved school of practical nursing.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in Massachusetts.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficient in using electronic tools and applications relevant to duties.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be required by specialty).
- 1+ years of nursing experience.
- Experience with an electronic medical records system.
Pay ranges from $20.00 to $35.72 per hour. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution.
