Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Scientist to join the Immunology Discovery team based in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will contribute to the discovery and development of Client therapeutic antibodies by performing in vitro cellular and immunological assays. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the interface of basic immunology research and early drug discovery in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities- Design, execute, and analyse in vitro biological and functional cellular assays to evaluate therapeutic antibodies.
- Perform primary human T and B cell culture and associated functional assays, including ADCC and ADCP.
- Utilize and maintain flow cytometry instruments (e.g., Canto, MACSQuant) and independently analyse data using Flow Jo or equivalent software.
- Conduct ELISA, MSD, and Luminex cytokine assays to measure inflammatory protein levels.
- Conceptualize and design experimental strategies to support reagent and therapeutic antibody development.
- Maintain detailed records, prepare technical reports, and present findings to project teams.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional scientists in a dynamic, team-oriented research environment.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Biological Sciences, Immunology, or a related field.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical research setting.
- Proven expertise in primary immune cell culture, flow cytometry, and functional immunoassays.
- Strong understanding of T-cell and B-cell biology and fundamental immunology principles.
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple experiments simultaneously.
- Bachelor's (3+ years' work experience) or master's degree (1+ years') in biological sciences.
- Training or work experience in immunology with T/B cell.
- Human primary immune cell culture, functional assays, ADCC/ADCP assays.
- Multi-colour flow cytometry, Luminex/MSD cytokine assays.
- Experience on human/mouse blood and tissue samples.
